  1. Continuous:

  2. Continual:

    • "Continual" is an adjective that describes something that occurs repeatedly over a period of time, but with interruptions or pauses between occurrences.
    • Example: "He experienced continual headaches throughout the week." Here, "continual" indicates that the headaches happened repeatedly but not constantly.
    • Example: "The continual interruptions made it difficult to finish the project." In this sentence, "continual" describes interruptions that occur repeatedly but with breaks in between.
