  1. Among:

    • "Among" is used to indicate a relationship involving more than two entities or individuals.
    • Example: "The cat hid among the bushes." Here, the cat is surrounded by multiple bushes, indicating a relationship with more than two elements.
    • Example: "He was popular among his classmates." In this sentence, the individual is related to multiple classmates, not just one or two.
  2. Between:

    • "Between" is used to indicate a relationship involving only two entities or individuals.
    • Example: "The negotiations are between the two companies." Here, the relationship exists specifically between two companies.
    • Example: "She couldn't decide between the red dress and the blue one." In this case, the decision is related to choosing between only two options.
